He earned the distinction of becoming a Fellow of the International Society for Oral Implantologists (USA) in 2006. His dedication to this field was recognized with the title of Diplomate of the International Society for Oral Implantologists (USA) in 2011, reflecting his expertise and contributions to oral implantology.
In 2013, Dr. Chokanda achieved certification as a Board Member of the International Academy for Piezosurgery in Italy. This certification signifies his proficiency in the advanced technique of piezosurgery, which is instrumental in various dental and maxillofacial procedures.

Areas of expertise:
Worked as the head of Maxillofacial Trauma and Reconstruction at a leading Trauma Center for close to two decades, before switching to Advanced Oral Implantology and Orthognathic (Cosmetic) correction of facial skeletal deformities and Adult Cleft Osteotomies.
Mentored as KOL and faculty for Swedish Oral Implant giant Nobel Biocare’s regulated courses and workshops in South-east Asia, subsequently as a Trainer for world renowned Bone management company Meisenger, after training in Germany and later for the pioneering Italian company Mectron as a trainer for Piezosurgery.
Has been focused on Digital Oral implantology, Piezosurgery and Orthognathic surgery in the last decade.
