- Dr.Amer have a long experience in General surgery, which started 1991, then graduated From the medical city teaching hospital, Baghdad/ Iraq, He got the certificate On December 1997 as an ARAB BOARD IN GENERAL SURGERY ( 5 five years post Graduate study ) BAGHDAD/ IRAQ.

- Head and Neck surgery mainly (Thyroid, Parathyroid, and salivary Glands),
- Breast lesions, breast surgeries, benign & malignant Breast lesions surgeries, including the diagnostic procedures. I.e. Core ( tru-cut needle biops). With the Ultrasound guidance.
- Anterior abdominal wall procedures, all the types of abdominal wall Hernias, (epigastric, paraumbilical, Umbilical, Incisional hernia, Groin ( inguinal / Femoral ) hernias, as well as the rare types of hernias to the adults & kids.( Pediatrics age group). As well as Tummy Tuck ( dermo-lipectomy) for complicated hernias & for sagging anterior abdominal wall.
- The essential & the common laparoscopic Surgeries, Appendix & Gall Blader & Hernia surgeries.
- Gastro-intestinal surgeries, Small & Large bowel (colonic & rectal procedures).
